The Melbourne High School Foundation Health Promotion Trust focuses on programs that support the physical and emotional wellbeing of the school’s staff and students. The funds raised in 2017 enabled the school to run wellbeing programs for staff and students identified as requiring support. The 10-week programs addressed exercise, sleep, nutrition, stress, mobility and cardiovascular health.
MHS is also raising funds for the Health Promotion Hub – a centralised wellbeing service - that provides facilities including private counselling rooms, a new nurse’s bay and a dedicated space for gender and age-appropriate health and wellbeing programs.
Activities including seminars, workshops and mentoring will be available to all students and teachers.
Your generous support will make these special programs possible.
